Our Story

Cindy Yared launched Mom Corps Dallas in January 2011 which grew into Corps Team Dallas in 2015.  After working for more than 20 years in client service and business development as a broadcast sales and marketing executive, Cindy wanted to apply her passion for improving businesses beyond just marketing. After discovering Corps Team with Mom Corps, Cindy was attracted to the concept of helping clients grow their businesses by providing high-caliber talent seeking to make meaningful contributions. Cindy has built a team of outstanding talent acquisition professionals in Dallas where their partners appreciate their honesty, transparency and the energy they put into finding the best fit candidates.

We typically source staff to mid-senior level management in areas such as accounting, marketing, finance, sales, operations, legal and HR.  The majority of our candidates are professionals with advanced degrees and 5+ years of experience.

Client Background 
Founded in 1981, Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is an importer, distributor and marketer of internationally renowned, award-winning wine & spirits brands. As a family-owned business, they build lasting relationships with producers and distributors that value people as much as the Deutsch family does. 

The Challenge 
Managing a full spectrum of HR initiatives for Deutsch Family, Senior HR Manager Tina Delafield was tasked with filling a newly created business intelligence role to support their marketing team.  
Working in a company that values clear, precise communication, Tina had fully developed the job description – including the technical acumen, experience and soft skills essential to success. Eight weeks of searching on their own yielded few applicants filling the needs for the role. 
Time was of the essence. A mutual connection recommended Gretchen Rost at Corps Team, so Tina reached out to her for help. 

The Solution 
After meeting with Tina to discuss her needs in depth, Gretchen and her recruiter, Kirsten Overlee, knew that "fit" was critical with this placement. Tina needed a BI professional who:

  • Had a specific, analytical skill set and was familiar with the systems Deutsch Family used.
  • Had a communication style and values that meshed well with their corporate culture.
All parties involved agreed that a retained search was the best choice for this placement. Kirsten got to work sourcing candidates immediately:

  • Corps Team assumed time-consuming, yet vital aspects of Deutsch Family's search, including recruiting, screening and vetting activities. Tina was thankful for the time she reclaimed to focus on other important priorities.
  • Within a few days, Kirsten began presenting candidate profiles and resumes for consideration.
  • Of the candidates referred, Tina selected a handful for in-person interviews. Ultimately, she hired a Corps Team candidate less than three months from the initial engagement.
The Result 
Tina's new hire has been on the job for several months and is successful in their fast-paced environment. Overall, Tina is pleased with the candidate's skills, job performance and culture fit.
