Great Preston Center location in Dallas! Are you a driven, self-managed accountant who loves to take the lead in getting the job done in a fast-paced environment? Our client, a Commercial Real Estate company with a national reputation as a premier development and management company is searching for a Senior Property Management accountant to be responsible for asset management and the financial components of three properties in their national portfolio. 


  • Budget and forecast preparation
  • Preparation of annual operating expense and tax reconciliations
  • Perform month end close and prepare monthly property management financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Assist with preparation of tenants’ contracts and correspondence; input lease data into accounting system
  • Process tenant payments; review and follow up on any delinquent accounts
  • Verify rent roll and post charges, enter manual adjustments and miscellaneous billings
  • Track and monitor capital expenditure
  • Ability to use financial modeling, create presentations
  • Assist with new project set up
  • Providing support to Senior Financial Management


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
  • 6+ years of experience in retail commercial real estate, preferred in property management operations role.
  • Experience with CAM and TAX Reconciliations, financial analysis, budgeting, preparation and review of operating statements
  • Strong GL and AR maintenance experience
  • Strong understanding of Annual Reconciliation & Budget preparation
  • Solid working knowledge of accounting processes
  • Ability to prepare and analyze detailed financial statements
  • Strong quantitative & qualitative skills
  • Excellent communication abilities (oral and written)
  • Strong organization & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of software
  • Experience with Kardin, Timberline and/or MRI software


  • Strong problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of CAM recovery methodology
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Excel.
  • Ability to quickly recognize trouble spots in plans, budgets, and financials through analysis and review.
  • Analytical problem solver that can creatively devise solutions and provide tactical advice/implementation strategies
