Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Annually reviews and makes recommendations to Executive Management for improvement of Company’s policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and insures Company compliance
  • Communicates changes in personnel policies and procedures and insure proper compliance is followed
  • Assists executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of wage and salary program
  • Coordinates all benefit programs, including leading the benefit renewal process
  • Responsible for all strategic recruiting efforts and onboarding of new employees
  • Reviews development and execution of all training programs. Ensures training programs are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for all functions of payroll within the company.
  • Coordinates and/or conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation
  • Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters
  • Recommends, evaluates, and participates in Staff Development
  • Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets personnel information needs
  • Participates on committees, and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities

Experience, Education and Licensure

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 5 to 10 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PHR or SPHR preferred
