The Director, Customer Data & Analytics, is responsible for supporting the establishment of a new enterprise customer data management capability adding value by establishing a strategic customer data and analytics function, working with key stakeholders in corporate and the operating divisions across Customer, Sales, Information Technology, and all Marketing competencies. This role will require a candidate with a strong background in the functional field of data management, customer segmentation, stakeholder management, and data analytics and insights.

  • Lead and coordinate corporate, cross-functional, and cross-divisional projects relating to customer data management, data governance, and data related processes.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders in corporate and across divisions to define critical customer data entities.
  • Prepare materials on customer data management and facilitate presentations for corporate and divisional senior management.
  • Closely work with sales, marketing, IT and other organizations to coordinate the creation of a customer data infrastructure and support the coordination of data for both operational and analytics needs.
  • Developing and managing “customer data management strategic roadmap” with an 18-24-month time horizon, including identifying and prioritizing data sources.
  • Contribute towards the development and implementation of customer data management and data quality KPI’s across the company.
  • Lead efforts to establish and maintain a customer master hierarchy, customer master definition and related rule sets.
  • Select and manage key external suppliers, technology platforms and resources essential to a comprehensive and effective customer data management solution.
  • Develop a comprehensive analytics function to help benchmark and measure marketing effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, with a concentration in Business Analytics, Management, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited university – Master's Degree preferred.
  • 7+ years work experience in data management-related role – preferably with customer data – collaborating with different parts of a complex organization.
  • Prior work experience in B2B organization highly preferred.
  • Must be analytical and driven by metrics with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Must have experience leading teams.
  • Must have a track record of implementing operational excellence (process and tools/technologies) in an analytics function, preferably with customer data.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently.
  • Must be able to maintain organization, creativity, and professionalism in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Outstanding collaboration skills, with proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders across business lines to accomplish goals required.
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate company’s value proposition internally and externally.
  • Strong relationship builder within organization and with external partners.
