Why did you join Mom Corps YOU? I joined Mom Corps YOU so I could access resources, insights and inspiration as I pursue my career with a shift toward working as an independent consultant, on a part-time or flexible basis.

Why are you currently looking for a job? For the past 15 years I have progressed through full-time marketing roles in the consumer healthcare/consumer package goods industry.  In 2014 I left my role as a Director of Marketing for a major consumer healthcare company in order to achieve better balance for my family and middle-school aged children.  I want to stay engaged in the industry and continue the work that I love, while also being the best I can be for the people I love.

What are your flexibility needs? I am looking for marketing roles that enable me to work up to 30 hours per week in the office with my day ending around 3:00pm.  I can work additional hours remotely in the evenings and on weekends.  I could be flexible with my schedule for occasional meetings or business trips.  However, it would be ideal if my regular on-site hours Monday through Friday ended around 3:00pm.

What's your work/education background? I received my BS from Cornell University and my MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

I began my marketing career at The Gillette Company in Boston where I worked in the Global Shaving Business in various product management roles from 1998-2003.  In 2004 I joined Schering Plough Consumer HealthCare Products where I progressed through various marketing roles from Product Manager to Senior Product Manager and eventually to Director of Marketing on businesses such as Coppertone, Coricidin, MiraLAX and Dr Scholls.  The Schering Plough Consumer HealthCare Products division was acquired by Merck Consumer Care in November 2009.  I left my role as Director of Marketing for Dr Scholls US business for Merck Consumer Care in January 2014.

What would be your dream job? My dream job would be a brand management/marketing role that enables me to leverage my years of skill and leadership experience while achieving better balance through a reduced or flexible schedule.

What should a potential employer know about you? I love consumer marketing.  I am fascinated by the challenge of uncovering consumer insights and developing strategies for any type of product from mundane, low interest categories to trendy, well known and beloved brands.  I bring a strong work ethic, a strategic/analytical mindset, an expertise in advertising communication, financial acumen, excellent references and a lot of fun leading and working in cross functional teams.
