Charlotte Business Journal: Corps Team Named Best Place to Work

Corps Team is excited and honored to be named one of Charlotte’s Best Places to Work.

The Charlotte Business Journal announced the winners at a fantastic, fun-filled event this week. Our Senior Vice President of Client Services, Stacy Keefer attended.

Local companies brought the fun to uptown Wednesday night as they celebrated their designation as one of the Charlotte Business Journal‘s Best Places to Work.

Just shy of 70 firms across the region were recognized during the high-energy awards event at the Charlotte Convention Center. The awards program is put on annually by the CBJ, with the help of several sponsors.

The event’s theme is focused on fun, with employees popping champagne and cheering on their companies during the rankings reveal. About 600 attendees celebrated with confetti poppers, thundersticks and other items from a bucket of props, adding to the festive nature of the evening.

An afterparty and networking ended the night.

The underpinning of the awards program, however, is more serious.

The Best Places to Work program highlights companies that have benefits, policies and practices in place that are among the area’s best, based on employee surveys. Employee-feedback software company Quantum Workplace helped with that process, asking employees questions on topics like workplace trust, management experience and goal development. The rankings — revealed Wednesday night — represent those findings.
