Cindy Yared

C_Yared down res 150x150Cindy Yared is president and owner of Corps Team Dallas and the voice behind Spot on Talent. After working for more than 20 years in client service and business development as a broadcast sales and marketing executive, Cindy decided she wanted to expand her horizons outside of broadcast media. After discovering Corps Team with Mom Corps, Cindy was attracted to the concept of helping clients grow their businesses by providing exceptional, qualified professionals who get their job done well. Her partners appreciate her honesty, transparency and the energy she and her team put into finding the best fit candidates.

Prior to Corps Team, Cindy was the chief marketing officer for Disiere Holdings in Dallas, where she developed the launch and marketing strategy for a new on-line personal auto insurance product. Before that, she was the national sales manager for Clear Channel Communications in Dallas, where she worked for 11 years selling radio, digital and promotional campaigns while managing eight national offices and 25 sales representatives across the U.S. Before joining Clear Channel, Cindy worked in radio broadcasting sales at a variety of other stations including CBS Radio and Cap Cities/ABC Broadcasting in Dallas and several broadcast stations in St. Louis, MO.

Cindy holds a BBA from Baylor University in business administration and finance. She is an active member of the Baylor Alumni Association, Network of Executive Women and Ellevate. Cindy loves long runs, cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband and two teenagers.

Karen Fox

karen headshot 150x150Karen is the new Director of Business Development for Corps Team Dallas.  Prior to taking time off to raise her family, Karen was the Regional Manager for Allied Riser Communications where she led her team covering the Southeastern United States to be the top producing region in the company.  Previously, she was a Client Manager for IBM where she worked and managed teams for 15 years selling hardware, software and consulting services in the Telecommunications and Media industries.

Karen has a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College in Marketing and Finance.  She serves on the board of National Charity League and is an active member of Jesuit Women’s Auxiliary.  She loves to exercise, cook healthy meals, travel and spend time with her husband and three teenagers.

Julie Schmidt

JulieSchmidt v2 150x150Julie Schmidt has more than 12 years experience in recruiting and talent acquisition. She began her career working for a small retained search firm recruiting information technology professionals. She then moved to Korn/Ferry International (or the world's largest retained search firm) and worked in a research capacity supporting the firm's advanced technology, retail, higher education, professional services and healthcare practices.

A family move to Austin provided the opportunity for a career change where she worked as the Director of Development Services for The Seton Fund, the fundraising arm of The Seton Healthcare Network, a $1.7B not-for-profit hospital operator in Central Texas. After four years in this role, her family returned to Dallas, where she re-joined Korn/Ferry International as a Senior Associate, recruiting top talent for the firm's healthcare practice. Most recently, she worked for a boutique retained executive search firm recruiting all levels of management for the company's healthcare clients.

Julie earned her BA in Spanish from Vanderbilt University and enjoys cooking and traveling.

Penni Davis

Penni Davis 150x150Penni has over 10 years of Human Resource and Recruiting experience.  She began her career as a recruiter for Zale Corporation. She then worked in a variety of Human Resources roles with Zale including, but not limited to Recruiting, Training, Internal Placement and Employee Relations. After having her first child, Penni decided to stay at home. During her time at home, she continued to contract with Zale Corporation for the Communications Department as well the Recruiting Department recruiting both field and corporate employees.

In 2011, Penni joined a boutique staffing agency named The Wetstein Group in which she recruited for major start-up companies such as LivingSocial and MainStreet Hub. Penni recruited Sales Representatives, Account Executives and Sales Managers as well as other support and operation staff-level positions. Additionally, she has recruited and sourced for a management consulting firm named DeWolff, Boberg and Associates here in Dallas. Recently, she worked as an Independent Recruiter for two agencies in which she recruited for a variety of positions including Inside and Outside Sales Representatives, Account Executives, Marketing Directors, Marketing Specialists and Recruiters.

Penni earned her BBA in Management from Texas Woman’s University and enjoys traveling and sporting events.

Denise Miller

denisemillerphotofinal-150x150Denise Miller has more than 13 years experience in recruiting. Her areas of expertise include talent acquisition at executive and junior levels; building and managing networks of talent; and a proven track record of recruiting top performers and passive candidates.

Denise spent 12 years with Alexander Proudfoot, a global business process improvement firm, starting out as a consultant. She was quickly identified as a future leader and placed in the company’s management development program. She joined the North American management team as Recruiting Director and then was promoted to Global Head of HR with responsibility for all worldwide recruiting functions. Denise left Proudfoot in 2012 to become an independent recruiter.

Denise holds a business management degree from St. Francis College and a 4.0 GPA. Denise is Jamaican and remains very connected to her community. In her spare time, she enjoys tending to her rose garden and cooking.
